OUR BUSINESS
This business was started to provide a service to our customers who wanted some true black and white photographs of their family. This has then branched out
into the special events where we photograph parades and meetings. We were the photography chairman for the Chicago Thanksgiving day parade which airs
on national television. We had to provide a total of 18 photographers to cover the parade. We also are the photographers for Cowalunga, a three day 190 mile
bike tour of southern Wisconsin that raises money for the Respiratory Health Association of Metro Chicago.
We also enjoy travelling the midwest and photographing "Americana" Barns and rural life in the midwest. Check out our stock photo section by clicking on one of
the photographs shown and it will take you to our page that shows our current photo selection.

Bill (David) Kruser
Bill started taking photos at a very young age. He actually has a love of trains and as a young boy lived near a rail yard in Chicago IL. He would take his camera
there to photograph the trains. Always wanting to improve his photographs he took classes and continued these two loves all his life.
Bill loves the photojournalistic approach to his photographs and tries to make each photo tell a story.
He then became interested in the two lane highway system and the small towns and rural areas that are slowly disappearing. He is hoping to publish a
photographic essay on one of the famous U.S. Highways in the Midwest. Capturing these wonderful areas of Americana is pure enjoyment. You will find many of
his images in black and white, his preferred choice of medium.
Currently he is Co-President of the Arlington Camera Club, and chairman of the Arlington-In-Pictures Committee. This committee is responsible for
photographically recording Arlington Heights today in order to have factual history tomorrow. All photos are donated to the Arlington Heights Historical Museum
for their archives.
Having been the chairman for competitive judging of the small prints division of the Chicago Area Camera Club Association, allowed him to see and judge over
250 photographs in one day and these contests were held monthly. The category has no restrictions on subject matter and this provides a wide range of all types
of photographs. It has also been his pleasure to judge competition photographs regularly at the Arlington Heights Camera club. He also judges photographs in
competition at other area clubs when they need assistance.
Bill has also been appointed by the Mayor of Arlington Heights as an Arts Commissioner for the Village of Arlington Heights, IL. In this position, the commission
works to improve the arts in the community by providing sculptures throughout the village and art work in the public buildings. They also promote young artists in
the area.
He has also served as chairman of the photography committee for the Chicago Festival Association and it was his duty to provide 20 photographers for the
Thanksgiving Day State Street Parade. One of our current clients is the Respiratory Health Assoc of Metro Chicago.
Bill and his business partner, Cindy (Kay), love photographing rural America, trying to capture the peaceful and meaningful life of rural America in black and
white.
I have always loved photography. For as far back as I can remember I always had a camera available to me. I was never in a picture because I was always
behind the camera taking the picture. Pictures are my life; they record and tell a story. To me photography is very exciting, it enables us to look back and see how
life has unfolded. We think we are going to remember but we don’t. Photographs give you the opportunity to remember, to bring a tear to your eye or put a smile
on your face.
I started taking pictures with my Brownie Camera while on vacation with my parents and sister as we traveled throughout the United States. Growing up my love
was the old west, photographing deserted mining and ghost towns. Later in life, I became engrossed in capturing my children on film as they grew. I wanted to
be able to pass onto them a story of their life so that they could eventually pass their story on to future generations.
I have served as Co-President of the Arlington Camera Club and Coordinator for Special Events and Travel for the past couple of years. I am also a photography
judge for the Arlington Camera Club and the Chicago Area Camera Club Association, better known as CACCA.
I am a member of the Arlington-In-Pictures committee. All pictures for this committee are donated to the Arlington Heights Historical Museum for archival
purposes. I also photograph events for the Arlington Heights Mayor’s office.
I have co-chaired the photography committee for the Chicago Festival Association’s McDonald’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and Durand Futures Golf
Tournament. At present I am a photographer for the Respiratory Health Association photographing their three-day bike tour called COWALUNGA and their walk
along Lake Michigan. I enjoy photographing special events and corporate functions, along with taking photos at area Senior Communities.
For the past five years, I started studying black and white photography and am learning to process and print all my film in a darkroom.
With Bill Kruser, the Co-President of the Arlington Camera Club, we enjoy photographing the back roads of the Midwest. Capturing old barns, trees and covered
bridges is exciting for us. We are in the process of working on a book of one of the famous two lane U.S. Highways in the Midwest. As you can see, I enjoy my
camera and seeing life through the lens. Look for us at the art shows in the northern Illinois area selling our “black and white” photos.
